Dear all:
During restoration works on my Series 1 FHC the piece pictured appeared one day in the interior driver side carpet. It can be a small piece from another car or belong to the E Type. I've been unable to identify it, any ideas about it?

It is from your car, a common fate. It is part of one of either pedal return springs. Do a search on the forum, you will find fixes for this. Either replace or substitute.
