Hazard warning light toggle switch

My S1 4.2 have the separate panel for hazard warning light. Switch it self has falling into pieces and plastic cracked beyond repair. Tried sourcing a new switch without luck. I know that there is new complete panel available but I would like to keep the original.
Any help would be appreciated.

You could always buy the new one and just use the switch! Please post a picture of the switch, terminal side, and see if we can identify it. There must be another Lucas switch that will do the job. Here is the wiring diagram. According to the 1968 Lucas catalogue it is Lucas model #151SA; part #35876A:

Yes this is the correct wiring and switch. I cannot find anything like this switch. Picture shows backside with the 5 wires soldered to the terminals.

I've done a bit of searching and it does seem difficult to find one.

How broken or damaged is your switch? Does the electrics of it work? Is it just the toggle peice that's broken? I'm thinking that if it's broken (either the electrics or the toggle) you have nothing to loose by stripping it. Maybe then it becomes apparent what or how to fix. Maybe you could buy another generic / copy switch and swap over (say) the toggle arm (if the electrics of yours it ok).

Maybe you could post a picture of the broken part? The rear looked fine on the picture.

The picture is not my switch, mine is similar but as I said in pieces. The backside has cracked open, springs, metal ball and contacts on the floor, beyond repair.
For new hazard panels from Barratt there must be a source for the switch but I have not been able to track that. I guess a last resort will be to buy a new complete panel, take out the switch and trash the rest.
