i have a 67 2+2 does f h c side windows this model,many thanks ifnot can they be altered to fit

No the FHC side windows are smaller and I would not think they could be made to fit.

The door on a 2+2 is about 30% longer , and the window is about 15% deeper than that on an FHC. Therefore, there are virtually no common parts for the doors/side windows between the 2 closed cars

Just for clarity, I believe Frenchi is talking about the rear quarter lights when he says side windows, i.e. the hinged windows fixed to the B-pillar.

I think some replies are mixed up a bit, and refer to size of door glass. This has maybe started from someone on other thread referring to the simple method of checking FHC / 2+2 difference is to measure the door length (roughly 32" vs 42").

Please don't get all fluffed up, I'm just trying to help the communication :D

Anyhow, from checking I see that the rear quarter lights have different part numbers between FHC and 2+2. The length may be the same (I haven't measured them) but the height for sure will be different, as it will match the increased roof height (couple of inches) of the 2+2.

Ah yes, David, a very good point . Sadly, however, for the reason you give the answer is still that the two are not interchangeable
