Has anyone got a good picture of Connolly Light Blue as on a series one? Or does anyone know where there is a good website with all the colours illustrated please?

I found xkedata.com useful when I was deciding on exterior/interior colours.

Andrew, here's a few photos of the ex Quentin Willson E-Type, taken from xkedata (860022)

I've seen it in the flesh at the NEC classics restoration show (before he sold it!) and it does indeed look lovely.

#8 Looks nice, but...

That new "Light" blue interior looks very good, but is darker that what I have in mind, and have seen on an original car. I just looked quickly in a few books but couldn?t find it. The original light blue is spectacular in my view, and I would love to have it in an early E-type. The red that you buy these days is similar in that it is darker than the red of the 60s. It has to do with the colouring process, but then I heard that Vaumol, whereby the leather is painted rather than dyed, has come back in production (probably with some more environmentally friendly tweaks, which might explain why the red is still not as red as what I have in an E and an S).
