Hello,

The back panel behind the seats - luggage panel which can be lowered to give an increased floor area; fitted with 3 chromed hinges on the foor - was perhaps recovered long time ago on my car. Exactly from this panel I want to know how the geunine/correct covering was on the 3 ends/lines - right/left side and the bottom end/line -. On the panel of my car there are staples on the right and left side ends. I am gratefull for any information or perhaps photo. Thanks.

Best regards
John

No staples, John. The material on the ends is tucked into the grooves. I used a little glue to make sure it stays stuck. If you PM me an email address, I'll send you some photos.

Mine was just overlapped and glued along the bottom and the ends. The rear piece overlapping the front and being trimmed neatly at the front edge. This is how it looked when I re-did it.

Your staples were probably put there by an OP.

Mine had one piece of upholstery that covered both sides (wrapped around the bottom/rear/hinge edge. Again, the sides were tucked into the grooves in the board.
