Hello

I'm trying to work out how the wiring is routed in the LH footwell. Does the loom go up and across the top? I seem to have no clips if so? Does the LH boody harness also go into the footwell before heading towards the back of the car?

Hi. You are right...the wire that goes down the footwell and through the grommet to the engine is secured along its horizontal length with a round steel channel that bolts/scews to the footwells l/h side wall such that the harness runs along the top left angle and then down to the grommet.....at least that is what my 62 car does. Others may know better.

The routing across the bulk head behind where the glove box is looks about right. The long purple/white wire goes through to the courtesy lift switch but I guess you know that. Just need a bunch of bullets to joint it all up :D

The LH body harness does indeed follow the same rout as the front harness across the dash, and then goes down to floor level and then routes alongside the inside of the sill where there are bendy clips to secure it. It then goes into the B post area and through the double skinned rear hindquarter to emerge outboard of the petrol tank so as to reach the rear of the car

Edit : when I said inside the sill, what I meant more precisely was on the inside of the car on the inner side of the sill

There is a "C sectioned" trim piece that holds the loom as it runs from front to rear up the door side of the footwell. Otherwise what you have done looks fine.

The important trick with laying the looms is to make sure you have them in the right place with regards to where they connect behind the drop down dash panel.
