Boot runner spacing

Thanks to Johannes here on the forum I finally have a set of boot floor runners and rubber on their way...a big THANKS to Johannes.

So my question is what spacing are the runners supposed to be? I seem to remember reading somewhere that the spacing changed at some point although I may be mistaken. My car was made on May 8th 1962.

If an expert could pop out and measure the spacing / location of their boot floor runners when the weather is nice then i would be most grateful for any guidance and advice....like how were they fixed on for instance?
