#1 S1 4.2 FHC Gearstick Gaiter Surround Trim.

On a 1965 4.2 FHC the piece of trim that sits on top of the center console (radio console end) around the rubber gearstick gaiter (see photo below).
Does anyone know where I can source one of these ?

Hi,
The part you are looking for is called the Gauntlet panel. There were two types on the 65 E-Type depending on the build date. One with a hole in it which the gear leaver rubber surround fits through (I think this is the earlier one but not sure) and the second type with a slightly larger hole and a leather gear leaver garter.
1E20001 ? 1E20102 and 1E30001 ? 1E30349 part number BD26196
1E30350 and subs part number BD27537.

From further study I think the one in the original picture is the later one (BD27539), used until 1E35549 when Jaguar went back to the leather gear leaver garter type.
