I am due to collect my restored and just repainted 3.8 FHC shell this weekend. What are the current thoughts about rustproofing and underseal? I was intending to use clear Dinatrol 1000 in all the internal cavities that I can access but wonder about what to put on the visible surfaces before building the car up. I do not want to diminish any value through the wrong treatments but want a nice car that I will not be afraid to use for fear of corrosion either
hidden or surface. I will be spraying the insides of things like bumpers with the Dinitrol as well to try to protect them.
