Does anybody know how to remove the raised trim under the rear window? SNG calls it 'crash roll' part no. BD24419. There's a chrome trim on the end at the door opening, mine has caught on something and bent out.

If it's installed anything like the way the crash roll is fixed in the earlier cars, it will be held by self tapping screws from the outside in the rubber seal channel behind the quarter window. Quite a lot of work to get to them.

I remember this clearly when I rebuilt by Bettie. The crash roll has a metal backing that is attached to the body by self taping screws that are inserted through the bottom of the rubber seal channel. There are rivets in there that hold the seal channel too, so the screws wont remove the channel only the interior crash roll. This is the same for the cant rails that run up over the windows and down the A-pillar.
Good luck
