This might sound a little mad, but,,,,,I am stripping years of bad underseal which was sprayed liberally around the fronts suspension of my series 2 roadster, and then decided to remove the suspension , clean it and have it powder coated as well as fitting new nylon bushes. So...what colour is acceptable for the suspension, and what treatment do I apply to the shiny back plate on the wheels, now that the black underseal is gone. Is there an accepted colour treatment t, or have I lost my marbles as my wife believes ( "it was working fine so why tale it to bits ")
Is copper the best replacement for brake pipes or should I stay with steel ?
Thanks

You will be glad to know Your marbles are safe.
I pondered over this question for weeks.......
The result was dont do anything black it may look as
You dont care. I did the back plates and hubs a neutral
grey and all the other components silver, blue calipers.
All etched and 2 pack paint.
For the Pureist then You may have to consult the
endless number of etype bibles. I built Mine to run and to
be easy to maintain to a good spec.
I think its personel choice its Your car!!
