Series 2 hood frame colour?

I am sure this has been documented previously, but I have searched and I cannot find the paint code for the S2 roadster hood frame.
I believe it is the same colour as the seat runners, but as they are new I have no point of reference.
I have been told that the S2 hood frames were in a slightly different shade of grey to the S1 cars, so I just wanted to avoid a schoolboy error here..
Apologies to the forum if this has been done to death and I just can`t seem to find the relevant info..

Jonathon, try a search, first of all for ‘hood’, then search those results for ‘frame’ and those for ‘colour’. Also, look at the suggested topics below. I think there is a general consensus from them…..

The JCNA S2 judging guide should have it....don't think we have the exact code here without searching...jcna easy to find with Google search....lots of detail in there..Steve

All British manufacturers adhered to the BS381c colour chart for consistency and ease of use by service centres and repair shops. Everything painted on Jaguar cars, apart from body colour, used the British Standard. Charts are available on line as are the paints although in this case, as Steve says, look at Dove Grey. The JCNA judging guides are OK but they do not give a paint reference.

Thanks guys, I had already checked the judging guide and it just says 'grey'.
The forum returns seemed to always refer to the S1 cars, which (rightly or wrongly idk) I was told were a different shade to the S2 cars.

Hi Jonathan.....who told you that the S2 was a different colour to the S1.........I'm not saying they are wrong but it could cause you to chase something that dosnt exist.....unless they can give you more info to go on.....Steve

I think I read it on a forum, but can`t recall where.
If that colour isn`t any different to the S 2 cars then great..
Am I conrrect in thinking the seat runners and stone guard are the same grey colour?
Are there any other items painted in the same coilour?
(May as well ask now.
