Clutch - very difficult to depress

Clutch issue. I took the car out and within 200 yds the clutch pedal was vey difficult to depress. I returned home with difficulty. I see no leaks under the car or around the master or slave cylinders. Thoughts on where to start first?

I had the same problem long time ago. It was the flexible hose which detoriated over time, the inner lining came loose and blocked the hose. The hose is the short one between the car itself and the gearbox.

Simple fix, this might be the problem
