Red paint .

Hello, Where can I buy touch up paint for my E type. Its Signal red I believe. SNG do not sell paint. Thanks Kevin

Remove your gas (petrol) filler door and take it to a good auto paint supplier. They should be able to match whatever color that you have on your car. Over the years, paints can fade or oxidize, making the original paint code somewhat meaningless.

When I get a chip or flake on my paint, I cover it with red oxide primer. Not an exact colour match, but it does disguise the chip and protect the metal underneath.

It will be many more years before I commit to another full respray.

Hi Kevin..ive used these guys in the past and for my signal red E........they can supply spyay can as well......or ar suggestec many spray shops will mix/match for you.....or halfords now have colour match machines http://www.auto-paint.co.uk/carpaint/index.php

I've used auto paints and halfords. Halfords will mix up signal red it you supply the BMC/British Leyland paint code. You can get spray or touch up sticks - I used it for spraying in the boot and for touching up the frame when I removed the radiator. I've not used it for the body and have opted for red oxide to cover bare metal as I have a respray booked for November

With halfords you pick it up and avoid courier fees.
