Hi all,

can anyone suggest a place to get an embossed rear number plate for a series 2?

Thanks for the quick reply, do you know what size is standard for a series 2 rear plate - Framptons not sure?

You can get a number of different sizes.
Mine are from Tippers Plates and are 9 and 1/2ins wide x 8 and 3/8ins high but this works for 3 numbers and 3 digits.
If you have a 3 letter, 3 number plus suffix then it will not be wide enough.

Bernie, if you look at the topic 'Series 2 Aesthetics' you'll see quite a bit of comment about changing the rear lights to those from forum member MarekH, then you can ditch the reverse lights, fit an oblong not square number plate and fit the straight S1 tailpipes. Those of us who have done it quite like the result.

Just a thought to consider before buying your plates.
