Thanks,

John Hay.

Some cars had body colour balance links, others had cad plated whilst others had black. For the S2 I would say cad plated with black painted springs which is confirmed by the JCNA S2 judging guide: http://www.jcna.com/library/concours/2006/e-type2.pdf

Thank you so much for your reply,
I have been restoring this car, which I got in boxes and had no clue where parts were meant to go. Its been a large learning curve for me, but with the help of the forum and especially Chris Vine, who I met on a recent trip to the UK, I have managed to put most parts in order.

I some time feel that I am asking silly questions but with out having any thing to go on and a limited knowledge base here in South Africa, I have to pose these questions, or I will not end up with the concourse vehicle I would like it to be .

I have done a total rebuild of this car, everything is new, and it has had no rust what so ever and all parts have been sourced from the UK, Its a matching numbers vehicle, can you give me an estimate of the current value in the UK?

Thanks & regards,
John.
