I really would appreciate some advice on how to dismantle the gearbox top cover assembly (the gear change mechanism) as there are few spares available,no refurb exchange units and next to no info in the workshop manual !!
1) How are the welch washers at the end of the 3 selector shafts removed ?
2)I presume that after these have been removed,and the selection forks etc are undone from these shafts that the shafts slide out through the front of the cover ?
3) As a backstop,can anyone recommend a Firm to do this for me ?
