Horn Push to steering wheel fixing

A real newbie question:- How is the horn push attached to the steering wheel on an S2? The part numbers for the grub screws (or whatever) seem to have fallen between the cracks of the steering and electrics categories in the SNG catalogue.

I can't see any signs of historic fixings on the galvanised ring behind the horn push, and I don't have access to the wheel boss until next friday, when I want to fit my restored wheel & push, and head off to Goodwood. Right now it has a knackered old wheel and no centre, the 'restorers' - having lost it.

Hi Steve.....the horn on a S2 is on the end of the indicator stalk.........the steering wheel center is held on to the wheel boss by 3 tiny grub screws entering from the side below the boss flange that the wheel is fixed to

If you look closely you can see a screw hole in the boss on the inside and outside ..ignore the ring on the left its non standard...grub screw and boss shown in SNG book p103 part no C18304

Hi Steve,

I assume you are talking about the steering wheel centre on a Series 2 which would be the horn on a Series 1.
It's held on with 3 grub screws in both cases

Barratts do sell them for 43p each.

Odd that they somehow retain the 'push', but do not leave three bright spots on the galvanised ring.
