Further to recent posts on this subject I have received a definitive answer from Ken Jenkins, Technical Advisor for the JEC whose opinion I respect, and for an e type diff, non LSD he recommends Hypoy 90 so thats good enough for me.

Hi Mike.....Morris make a great range of oils that are easy to obtain....they have a lsd oil that already has the aditive in.....SNG sell it or local car shops

Ken uses Millers oil for either type of diff.
As a post script he doesn't recommend synthetic oil in the gearbox, EP 90 is the choice.
