#1 Power Windows?

Post by mslbob » Wed Jun 26, 2019 12:55 am

Hi

I have a 69 FHC. Restored inside and out. I have had it for 50 years. Yes I bought it NEW!!!

Please don't laugh me off this site, but I am wondering if there is such a thing as power windows for her? The cranks are a pain and and the passenger crank from the driver side. No way Jose! Any clues??

Thanks, Bob 8-)

You'd have to make your own adaptation as there is no oem conversion.

Here are some pictures from my car. There is some explanatory text in the "photo albums" section of the jag-lovers.com "old site" as I have also posted there in the past.

kind regards
Marek

The wiring has its connector running on top of the door hinge. Otter make the thermal cutout switches which you can cannibalise from an XJS.
