#1 Engine Compartment Decals

Post by AshM » Thu Jul 18, 2019 11:16 am

Does anyone have any reference material regarding engine compartment decals for a late S2 FHC?

SNGB supply a comprehensive collection of decals but I am not sure which ones I need and where they are located.

Had a good look around the forum but cannot find any help. I note a couple of others have asked similar questions in the past without answers so maybe its not easily available.

Thanks
Ash

Decals varied depending on market - certainly the US cars have emission data not included on UK cars. There were very few labels and none that Sir William thought smacked of advertising but on the S2 cars (off the top of my head):

Tappet clearance sticker
Lubrication sticker
Negative earth plate
Smith's heater decal
Heater motor rotation direction decal
Emission control decal (Stromberg cars)
Lucas battery decal

Elsewhere:
Manufacturers label (late S2's on l/h side door panel
Tax disc holder
Running-in sticker
