Hi could anyone suggest how to bring the colour back to plastic parts of my ser11 e.g. (wiper bottle, fluid reservoir bottles, twin fan blades) would rather keep everything original than buy new ones, they are looking a bit dull, some help would be appreciated.

Have a look on-line, I read an article once by an American chap who'd published a method for doing this which iirc involved hydrogen peroxide. I thought I'd bookmarked it but unfortunately I haven't.

An easier method to try first is just soak them in bleach for a few hours.

Hi Gerry,

I tried various methods including hydrogen peroxide, washing powder detergent and believe it or not denture cleaning solution on the reservoir bottles with limited success. There is a post on here somewhere about my attempts.
In the end, the most effective seemed to be putting them in the dishwasher. If your wife’s opinion about car parts in the house, let alone the dishwasher, is anything like mine it’s probably better done while she’s out.
