#1 Insulator between carb gaskets

Post by Pex » Sun Mar 01, 2020 8:50 pm

I’m struggling with my renovation, trying to complete every missing part and there are a lot of them. Right now I just made a total overhaul on my triple SU’s and noticed that there are some questions left regarding this.
Should my LHD -69 with original triple SU’s have insulator blocks between carbs and intake manifold since this could imo affekt the alignment of the throttle linkage?
Should there be 3 Y-shaped bracket for the throttle return springs or should the rear one be the triangle shaped with a shorter spring?

Hi Peter,

Yes there should be insulation blocks (C17413); gasket each side .

And two Y brackets and one triangle piece.
