I have a 1969 XKE series 2 roadster.
The attached photo shows a very ugly plate extending aft of the bonnet top skin.
I removed the chrome grill to investigate. The plate is sandwiched between the bracket and the bonnet outer skin.
Also the bonnet line seems to cut slightly forward in the area of the decorative chrome grill
Does anybody have any ideas on this,
My first Jag, still love my MGB but now moving up a few notches
Can’t post photo right now seems to be issues with its size
