Hello all,

just wanting to know has anyone fitted a carbon fibre bonnet,or tail gate on their car ?

No, but I seem to recall J D Classics were selling a carbon fibre prop-shaft for the E-Type about 12 years ago.

My brother and i were contemplating a replacement bonnet,and maybe the tailgate,to try and reduce some weight on our rebuild.

It's the sort of expensive thing a racer would do and it probably would stand out a mile on a road car. Fixtures and fittings would be the main problem.

Those look quite good,apart from the price,lol
though to be expected,maybe a diy could be tried after some practice.

Thats a great price considering it has all the fittings and is super light weight...making a mold for a diy :salute:
