1969 Series 2 2+2
I am just finishing up my front suspension refresh. I got a little confused when re-installing the drop link between the sway bar and the lower wishbone.
Some background – this car is original and not been restored or messed with in the past. I disconnected the drop links and I never disassembled the lower wishbone. There was 1 washer per bolt on the drop links so 2 washers per side.
I can only see one way to re-assemble.
• Bolt (without a washer) goes through drop link and then sway bar. Then a washer and a nyloc nut.
• The bolt (with a washer) goes through the lower wishbone then the drop link and a nyloc nut (no washer).
This puts the drop link on the inside of the lower wishbone. I looked at internet pictures and there is no clear-cut pattern, especially since many are aftermarket drop links. The parts diagrams are no real help.
A picture is attached. Can you look at your car and verify the orientation?
Thanks in advance.

That's correct.
The big washer stops the bush from slipping out of the drop link (don't ask how I know this).
