Hello All,
Removing the aircon unit from under the dash has left a rather large hole in the scuttle….
Picture attached as seen from the foot well. I can’t see any fixing points for a plate or such - is this just covered by the under dash hardura? Feels unlikely?
Advice much appreciated!

I should make up a plate from light gauge alloy sheet, with dimensions perhaps 12mm larger all round ( make a cardboard template) and then swage the edge so that it fits flush. Either secure with 3 or 4 self tappers or glue the swaged edges

Out of interest - does any one know did the factory cut this hole for aircon cars and not for non aircon cars?
