I am missing the water return pipe sited under the inlet manifold, running from the bulkhead to water pump with a T connection near the water pump which connects to manifold. I cannot source one from usual suppliers ? Does anyone have dimensions so I can try and make one?
Regards
Steve

Hi Steve, on my S2 there is no T connection, only a metal pipe from the bulkhead to the water pump with flexible hoses to connect at each end. An old one measures at 23 inches long with an OD of 5/8th inch at one end. At the other end the pipe reduces to 1/2 inch OD for the last inch and a half as the connections at bulkhead and water pump are different sizes. Edited: is it part C24311?
I hope this helps but also look at the topic below for C24311

Thanks Geoff, my car is a USA import. Hence the t piece. Your dimensions helped though ad I can make one out of plumbing fittings. Thanks again Steve

Steve,
I would recommend using a "Y" or "T" fitting in glass filled plastic readily available "on the web" - read eBay , available in a range of sizes to make the connections, I've used them on several cars with great success.
That said, on my car I've left the manifold heating pipe unconnected as I've wired the secondary throttle permanently open and I don't want any of the emissions paraphernalia causing pinking or other problems and my car runs just fine without the manifold heating.
