2nd Query of the Night!! And yes, I should have taken even more photograhs!!
Putting the harness back in place in the engine bay, my photos for the picture frame and and driverside are not clear!!
When I released the harness from the engine/picture frame, it was generally routed together into two parts - (A) the wires that that went to the alternator and starter motor; and (B) the wires for the front of bonnet stuff and the electrics on the picture frame.
My photos show A being attached to the top of the engine frame just before the split for the alternator and B being routed lower in the engine fame and the bonnet wires emerging over the bottom of the picture frame by the horn.
None of my photos precisely show the routing of the harness along the picture frame (i.e top or bottom), nor where the cable to starter motor routes along the driverside engine frame to the starter motor.
Is there a preferred routing, or perhaps it doesn't matter?
Cheers, John C

If you look in the S2 knowledge base section there should be engine bay photos.

John - I'm attaching a few shots of my recently rebuilt DHC. I probably have some pics of the original setup somewhere, but I think it looked like this only much less shiny! If you want any specific shots, let me know.
