Rear quarter window catch
#1 Rear quarter window catch
The near side quarter window catch seems sloppy inso much that when the window is open and it’s fully extended as soon as you speed up the wind closes it. Is there anyway to tighten it up or recommendations to improve it. The opposite side is far stiffer and holds the window open with no issues.
Paul.

#2 Re: Rear quarter window catch
Hi Paul...there should be a wedge shape spacer that fits under the rear mount of the catch..often gets lost during retrim etc...without it the catch dosnt operste correctly..look to see if you have the same fitted both sides..also..this is for early cars...but worth a look....Steve
