Hi,

I'm looking for a little help, I'm about to get the underside of my bonnet resprayed and would really appreciate it if anyone could post some pictures of the correct original fasteners and washers for the inner wheelarch. I have a mixture of oval washers on some bolts and plain on others although lowest bolt for the rear of inner wheelarch that is visible has just standard washers, any help gratefully received!

Blue streak.
A couple of photo's of the underside of my bonnet. there are 3 round washer on both sides the rest are oval.
My bonnet has original paint and has never been taken apart.
If you need additional photos let me know.
Cheers Phil.

Hi Phil,

Thanks so much, I think that's how mine was before I took it apart so that is so helpful. The only other question I have is on the same fasteners in the wheelarch itself, are they also the same with some oval and some with plain washers. Love the original sticker as well.

Rob.

Hi Rob.
From what l can see, (through the original underseal) the oval washers in the photo have oval washers on the other side, same with round washers, both sides.
APART from where the NEARSIDE inner wheel arch fixes to the side of the wing. oval as in photo but round washers on inner wheel arch side.
Cheers Phil

Thanks Phil,

So I'm not going crazy, my nearside wheelarch was as you describe but had been disturbed at some point and I thought they had removed the oval washers from the inside! I shall return it to the correct original round washers.

Thank you,

Rob.
