i took my turn signal assembly apart without taking a photo beforehand.

Now I have eleven small parts that I don't where they go. Any help would be appreciated.

They are:
A - two screws that go into what in I believe are two square slightly curved washers.

B - two small springs

C - one larger spring

D - two copper pieces similar in appearance to a staple.

E - one screw-in object that has a raised rail like section on its top

F - one threaded screw that appears to screw into the steering column to hold the metal strap that locks the white plastic holder from moving.



I found out that the two screws and two washers labeled as A go where I originally indicated F to go Now where does F go to ?

Hello Blackjag, do you have a name? It’s always nicer to respond by name. If you click on your user name top right you can add name and car type to your signature area.

As for your problem, in the UK we tend to use the term indicator, some users refer to them as trafficators.

I email thanked Geoff immediately after he posted his reply, noting that his information did not relate to my Series II trafficator. I've researched this forum as well as others. Additionally, I contacted sellers of authentic Jaguar mechanic manuals, but no-one has an exploded view of my assembly. I still need help.

Finally a mechanic put my turn signal switch together. He said that there are small slots in the part I've identified as "F" where the two prongs of each of the three staple-looking parts fit into it. Then the three springs are added under the appropriate staple as the part attached to the wire loom is carefully attached to "F".
