plugs for 4.2 engine
#1 plugs for 4.2 engine
I'm going to replace the spark plugs on my 4.2: essentially a standard engine but with petronix ignition. I'm proposing to go with what I understand to be the standard NGK plug - BPR5ES set with slightly wider gap than normal. Does that sound right? Any thoughts on other brands? Thanks, JD

#2 Re: plugs for 4.2 engine
Hi,
I have the same plugs; gap is 0.030, 123/TUNE ignition and Lucas DLB 105 sports coil. Works great.
Regards,
Richard
