My S2 badge bar curves backward in the centre, obviously the result of a front end low speed shunt. The hole for the badge is halfway towards being circular.
I would like to straighten it and get it rechromed. From photographs it looks to be either curved gently forward along the back edge or more or less straight. Can anybody enlighten me - and if it is curved, how high would the gap under the centre be if the bar were to be laid on a flat surface, facing upward?
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
It is curved. The centre of the bar on mine is raised by 0.925".
Measurement was taken for the upper edge, as it doesn't sit squarely on a flat surface due to the chamfering at the ends of the lower edge.

Hi, I've just put a straight edge on the back of my S2 badge bar, and it's completely straight for 9 inches either side of the badge itself, but as Chris says, curves off a bit at the ends.
