Hi All,

I have finally sold my TR6 and now in the market for an E type, I have renovated various cars over the years slowly building each time to higher value car always with an E type as a goal.

I'm looking for a series 2 FHC project or a reasonable 2+2, not decided totally yet.

I am in the Midlands so if anyone knows of any available please let me know

Regards

Mark

Mark

Angus Moss has a superb 1969 S2 FHC LHD, totally rust free, engine running sweetly car at the moment. Will need restoration unless you like hearing aid beige but it will be a case of unbolt stuff, clean/restore parts, paint bodyshell, re-assemble to RHD. No replacing panels, no searching for parts, no shearing bolts etc etc. I think it is on at ?30k ono. http://mossjaguar.com/cars-for-sale.html

I have seen it and it is as described. I can't believe people will pay ?17k for a pile of rust with missing parts and overlook something like this.

Is that a black painted roof or a some kind of material covering?

It has an Everflex vinyl roof (now removed to check there was no corrosion underneath - none).

Always a worry when you see that as it could be covering dents. In this case, it is dent and corrosion free and was fitted as a fashionable upgrade (anything to nreak up the beige colour I guess).

Angus could you do me a big fave please? . Before you get rid of the car could you photo all the belts and their respective tensioners to death on that AC car please, plus the plumbing? I have most of the AC stuff loose but some bits missing and I've never been able to study how it all goes together on a complete car.

If it gets converted to RHD that type of AC has to come out I think, so perhaps pass my details on to any buyer?

No problem. I have some odd bits and pieces lying around for an ac car that I can dig out.

Yes, if the car does go to RHD, the ac has tl come out.

Looks like a good project unfortunately my budget isn't that high and I'm beginning to think my only option is a 2+2

Thanks

Mark
