Apologies if this has already been covered before.
When I bought my E-Type there were no door keys. Thankfully the passenger door lock is in the open position, but the drivers door is locked so the only way to open it is by leaning in from the passenger side.
I read somewhere that you can get replacement keys cut using the 3 digit code on the lock barrel?
I've managed to remove the plunger mechanism from the door handle which was held in by 2 small screws, and drift out the brass pin which I assume holds the barrel in place.
The lock barrel refuses to budge and I'm loathed to apply to much pressure, less the spring lets go.
Help much appreciated.

You'll need to remove the spring from around the end of the lock barrel first. The barrel should then just push out. If not, give it a soak in penetrating fluid for a while.
The three digit key code is stamped on the barrel. There's a number of people on eBay selling the FS style keys. Just ask them if they have one matching your key code.
