I'm having trouble fitting the vinyl covered panels which are fixed to the B-post face and then bent to cover the B-post area just in front of the hood frame. I can't get an even gap with the door card. The gap is much wider at the top because the lip rearward of point A makes contact with the inner face of the B-post. Raising the whole panel achieves a better gap but it then protrudes above the B-post. Therefore I think I need to reduce the overall length from A to the top of the panel by removing a few mm from the bottom lip.
Also when the panel is pushed against the face of the B-post, the upper section fouls on the hood mounting bolt and the frame itself.
I'd be grateful if anyone could provide measurements of their panels for the dimensions arrowed.

I've not been able to find my original door cards to compare but I was surprised to find the new door cards were longer than the actual door frame, presumably to hide the hinge. Hence why the inside of the leading edge is also covered in vinyl. Is this correct? I was just concerned that it might be prone to damage as the only support would be provided by the two chrome strips.

Thanks,
Chris
