Does anyone know if the standard US import Series 2 indicator lenses (ie all amber at front and mainly red at rear) will get through a UK MOT. Many thanks

Your indicators need to be amber at the rear aswell.
This is why I invented the LED reversing light upgrade. It was done to convert a US spec all-red rear lens into a UK compliant lens with the bonus of decent reversing lights.

Can the fornt ones be completely amber or do they need to have a clear section as well?

The front ones can be all amber if you want. This is how the s3 is.
The s2 also has front amber indicator lenses, but also has sidelights which are clear. (The s3 sidelights are inside the headlights.)
You can even have clear front indicators if you want, so long as the bulbs are orange.

Thank you Marek, Im told its not good enough just to change the lenses at rear to show some amber as the US imports have the lights in different positions so the whole unit needs to be replaced. Does that ring true with you?

Yes, that's why I make the rear reversing lights.
Lucas have never made rear lenses with orange indicators to fit US spec rear housings, but I do. See

Great! will these lenses fit straight on to my USA indicator unit with no mods required? If so where can I purchase them?
