Series 2 dashtop
#1 Series 2 dashtop
My series 2 roadsters dashtop is starting to develop some cracks in the vinyl. Looking at catalogues from the usual vendors, it looks like you can buy a dashtop for series 3 cars and series 2 coupes. Has anyone found a supplier of dashtops for the series 2 roadsters?

I'm not sure if there's a difference between the vinyl tops. On the SNG site, part BD35691 covers all the models. There is a indentation on the panel which needs to be cut back, to let in the central screen bar on the OTS.

BAS in South Wales supply a plastic top for the dash for the S2 roadster that I believe is the original form. US suppliers tend to supply vinyl to wrap the top. I've bought a dash top from BAS and the grain matches the dash fascia and it comes with the foam pad underneath

Don't let the little nuts and washers drop. That void behind the instrument panel is a bottomless pit (and probably full of little nuts and washers).cdnp62000 wrote:Just recieved the SNG Barratt dashtop.

The ventilation tubes are a pig to get into place. I still haven't worked out the best way.
