the official color on my series 2 ots is light blue. does anyone know the original or current correct paint code?
also the current fiat 500 in sky blue seems remarkably similar to jaguar light blue.

Hi Ed...try looking in tbe Knowledge base section of the forum....lots of info there viewtopic.php?f=16&t=951 also in there is a thread showing photos of cars in various colours

nexa color website shows 4385 as the code. their pog distributor in my area came up with 8541L as the light blue code for jaguar 1969. but he could not locate a formula.
still searching.

andrew great list but light blue was blank. 8541L can now be added. brand code is 13885.

The paint code for Light Blue is JAG-507
However, I have just had my 1969 Series 2 OTS repainted and the paint code on the tins is Rover Jaguar Light Blue JFD. The paint was sourced from Mipa BC in Germany to match the original paint on my car by a well respected Jaguar restorer.
Incidentally my car also has Dark Blue trim.

I have tried to post pics but files all appear too large.

I am having the seats, console done and trim kit supplied by GB Classic Trim in Nuneaton.

Quality seems first class.

The paint tins just say Mipa BC. It is base coat followed by clear.

If you can give me your email address I will try sending some pics of the car and completed seats to you
