Hello,

I prefer 16" because with 225/60 R16 the diameter is bigger than 225/60 R15 or 235/60 R15. 235/60 R15 is ONLY available from Pirelli and if Pirelli stops production you must change to 225/60 R15 or 225/65 R15. Therefore I prefer 16", because you gain 1/2" of clearance with 225/60 R16 against 225/60 R15. And that is a lot when driving with a lowered car.

Regards from Valencia

Carlos

The car looks fantastic but I hope you don't mind me saying it's spoilt only by that "hair net"....it has to go surely, it belongs to MGF and MX5 owners. :?

I think your car looks stunning, great colour, looks perfect with the 16"s and the whitewalls.

A stunning looking car, the wider and taller wheels and whitewalls look great.

Yeah - try telling that to the wife on a 1200 mile run to the south of France. We use our wind jammer (aka The Blowviator) whenever we are on the Autoroutes otherwise after a couple of hours you feel as though you have been in the ring with Mike Tyson.

Hello Mat

I hope you made good progress on restoring your car (E50 next year  ) . Have you been able to try these enduro tyres you purchased as mentionned in your first message of this post?
Anyone else got experience with it?

best regards
Philippe

I've purchased 205 70 15 Dunlop elite whitewall tires for my S3 from the States, these are available in the U.S.A i'll post details of the supplier later.
