#1 Replace steering wheel

Post by 18000rpm » Thu Jan 23, 2025 4:10 pm

I just bought an S3 2+2 and it comes with this steering wheel which I find very unattractive:

I want something like this Moto Lita 14 or 15" with S1/S2 horn button:

Are these ALL the parts I will need?

Thanks in advance.

You will also need a means to attach the wheel to the steering boss. The factory used solid alloy rivets.

The MotaLita Steering Wheel comes with Counter Sunk, Allen Key Screws and Nyloc Nuts, therefore, nothing more needed.

Ah, your research was more complete than mine. I only checked to see if the hub came with fasteners. I bought a Moto Lita wheel for my car some years ago directly from Moto Lita that didn't come with fasteners, so I assumed...incorrectly, as often happens with assumptions.

Thanks for all the replies, much appreciated! Heading off to Martin Robey now.

Wow this one seems quite a bit cheaper

£714 vs £541 (in fact it is £450 ex VAT). Seems like a better option? I suppose the downside is it only comes with 16-inch size.

You can get a 5% discount from SNGB as a member of a Jag Club and it seems to me that it's better to keep with the original steering wheel and logo (horn push).
