My Series 3 has a little puddle of transmission underneath and the transmission seems to have a slight but noticeable whine when stationary.
So a good place to start is find the leak. It usually goes up on a 4 post lift, but now I only have a low trolley jack and axle stands. What is the best jacking point and stand points once it is up to enable me to have a quick look underneath?

A hardwood support inside the picture frame channel is a must in my eyes.
