Engine harness routing

I have installed a new engine harness as part of my rebuild but just want to be certain as to the routing. It looks as if the cable to the oil pressure switch and transducer has to run through the central valley between cylinder heads and then down to the transducer behind the left had=nd cyliner head. Is this correct and should there be any p clips? Would someone please look at their engine and let me know. I have tried looking at pictures on XKEdata but cant find one that shows this detail.
