Hi, just bought a new wiring harness for my US 73 V12 manual from Autosparks and noted a difference between the new harness and what is in place. On the car as it exists, there is no white with blue tracer wire going into the Tach slot of the ballast resistor. Rather, it splices with another wire and both feed to the (-) terminal of the coil. The slot on the plug on the opposite side of the ballast also has no wire going to it. Basically, if you can get the visual on my set up, both plugs on either side of the ballast resistor only have two wires feeding into them.
The new harness has three wires, including the tach wire going into the plug. Given my differing set up, what do I need to do to make the new harness work? Thanks in advance.

#2 Re: Looking for Help on Ignition Wiring
apparently, there is a version of the ignition where there are less than 6 wires. The info can be found at the re0pus site in the area dealing with ballast resistors. In my set up, the tacho wire bypasses the ballast resistor and joins with the tacho trigger from the amplifier (A and D on the ballast resistor), through a 10k ohm resistor, which is spliced into the negative feed on the coil. You can see my set up on J-L and the re-opus diagram explaining the set up.
