#1 Fuel Lines

Post by e-bygum » Wed Sep 30, 2009 10:29 am

The steel fuel lines, feed & return, which run under the car from the reaction bracket mounts to the IRS are badly corroded and in need of replacement.
Does anyone know the part numbers and/or where I can source the fittings that are brazed on the front ends of these pipes that attach to the reaction bracket mounts. They are not shown in the Parts Manual.
Failing new parts how can I remove the old ones from the pipes to reuse them, do I need oxy or will I be able to get enough heat from a hand held propane bottle type torch?

Ask Harry. He replaced them on mine over the summer but was waiting ages with the new fuel lines on back order. In the end he removed a good set from another car and fitted them to mine.
