Dear forum colleagues,

I'm searching for "original" clips for the balancing pipe of my 1971 S3.
The original part in my car is completely different from the ones I can get from Limora or SNG (white one in the pic).
Seems to be that the actual parts are for US spec and not for european cars like mine.

Does someone know where to get the right part? Best regards

Have you tried M&C Wilkinson, I think they can supply all the various under bonnet fixings for the S3.

Here is an option but it is really a round-about way to get them:

So (1) use US-based eBay to (2) order from Australia to (3) have them shipped to Germany.
I suspect the cost of shipping will equal (exceed??) the price of the items -- note that only three are available.

Alternatively, SNG Barratt (US) carries them

(they allow you select your language of choice to include German, although your English is perfectly fine)

did you see my photo of the original part?

The parts you mention, available from nearly all suppliers like SNG or Limora are not the ones in my car (and in the parts catalogue).

They might be correct for a US car with more pipes for the emission control system but they are not correct for my european car.

If I can't get the original ones of course I have to take the ones which are available.
(I already bought two of them not knowing that they are different from the original ones)

seems to be that no supplier can provide the parts I'm looking for.

Basically no problem, I just wanted to have the original ones.
Perhaps I can find parts during a spares day.
Or I have to make a trip to Beaulieu autojumble (If my wife agrees )
