Rear Light Assemblies

Hi, about to receive my roadster back from a full repaint and will start refitting chrome work. Most is good but rear lights have pitted chrome. I understand Mazak is difficult to repair and re chrome. Anyone had experience with Barratts or Manners replica units. Particularly chrome longevity recognising their harsh environment?

Bought a set for my fhc but had to reshape them to fit.
Also the chrome was not very good (not mirror like) so had to get them rechromed.
Would try to get your original ones fixed if I was you

I had no problem with the replacement rear lights from SNGB. You do need to make sure the light fittings and lenses are UK spec. You will also need to buy new gaskets. Mine didn't fit too well (probably because panels varied a bit) but I used vaseline to better hold the gaskets in place. Agree that the position of the lights makes them vulnerable to moisture - an area to be dried thoroughly after washing or a wet run.
