#1 Loosening stuck wire spoke rims

Last autumn, just before my cat‘s winter break, my workshop failed in removing the wire spoke rims from the hubs during maintenance service. Last week I removed the spinners every evening and sprayed penetrating oil (I used three different types: cooling spray+Caramba shock rust remover+Liquimoly MoS2 rust dissolver) between hubs and rims. Yesterday I succeeded in removing the rims from the hubs. However it took us several hours, much power and several hits of a hammer to do this job: lots of rust on the toothing profiles of the hubs and the rims. For heaven‘s sake it was only rust on the surface that could have been removed by means of wire brush, both on the hubs and the rims. After coating the clean surfaces with grease and fixing the rims I made a reminder in my calendar to remove the rims at least twice a year to prevent stuck rims in future. Does anyone have same experience, are there special types of grease for hub/rims that prevent such nightmares?
Thanks
