Happened upon this car over the weekend. Anybody care to spot the unusual features?

It changes colour dramatically when you're not looking?
Covered headlights? Body coloured wing mirror? I'm a real novice with S3's as you can tell.....

Wider wheels and no over-riders...I wonder if it's a fibreglass bonnet? Looks like the original mirror that's been painted...oh, and the crash pad isn't black!

Whatever it is it looks nice, even if it is not genuine or original. What price are they asking?
Come on do not hold back, point out the faults for us novices, we have to learn the hard way. Does it have a V12 grill?

I am learning, It was once a left hand drive. Wipers park on the wrong side??

So what is the purist point of view on this. Is this a recognised revision or will it alway be deemed unacceptable. It seems to to be design using all the nice feature of the different models

he, almost no time to react and play the game
interesting body work in lowering the rooftop.Good also to have the 1973 Norden overriders gone.
Not sure I like the inside relooking (by the way , different steering wheel ) but this is personal taste.
hmm... and they claim to have repositionned the rear ligths under the bumper... this was effortless most probably

Looks quite nice in the pics at the dealer but the front grill treatment is horrendous

I couldn't see it even after reading the description....but looking at a standard 2+2 from the same angles it becomes obvious. What a huge amount of work, and looks to be very well done. I'm sure it would look even better with the standard grille and interior.
I do wonder just how many folks will put their hands in their pockets to the tune of ?60k for it though!

Oh dear oh dear! It's quite nice looking but why bother? It still does not actually look like a FHC and is just a bastardised version of several Es, and as someone has already suggested, these are always difficult to sell - viz the Frua FHC which failed to attract a bid at 2 auctions
